Altman

After seeing his films, I can't really say that I enjoyed them. Overall I just found his movies to be quite boring and the film topics aren't really attention getters. First of all The Long Goodbye, was about a private detective, based on Phillip Marlowe from the 1950's. It was suppose to be like a film noir based in the 70's. Pretty much in every scene he was smoking a cigerette and everyone else was a hippie. At the ending of the film, he foundout that Terry Lenox was still alive and that he killed his wife. So Marlowe shot him, becuase he didn't think that he was worth living.

Nashville was about country-western singing groups and asassination. I highly disliked this film, because of the genre of music and well mostly just the music. None of the characters were interesting and I really hope that I never have to see a movie like this again. At the end of the film, Barbara Jean was asassinated by the man with the violin case.
